A day at the Beach

We are starting to fear the inevitable rainy days to come and so we are trying to enjoy our last few days of sunshine. My little brother Paul is staying with us for a while and he hadn't ever been to the Oregon Coast so we decided to make a day of it. We headed down to Lincoln City and had fish and chips at a place called Mo's that was right on the water and watched people catch live crabs. It was really cool and we decided that we are going to have to take up the crabbing sport. We then headed down to Depoe Bay and were lucky enough to pull over and see several gray whales playing in the water. It was awesome to see them, we tried to take a picture but...they blended right into the water...what are the odds? After that we took a trip over to Tillamook to have a tour of the Tillamook cheese factory and gets some ice cream. It was DELICIOUS! Needless to say it was a day of fun in the sun and I think I might have even gotten a little bit of a sun burn :)
